The 'BP' display means the start-up system check has been bypassed. This allows the unit to enter standby mode immediately after installation or power-up, skipping the automated diagnostic tests.

    The unit is now in standby mode and can be used normally.

  2. 2

    To bypass the test: within 5 seconds of applying power, set the indoor unit to Dry and 68°F (20°C) while 'CC' is displayed.

  3. 3

    If the start-up test was not bypassed and the unit shows 'n2' or 'n3', power cycle and attempt bypass again.

  4. 4

    The bypass is only possible before the 'n2' or 'n3' displays appear.
