Water does not drain or drains slowly — Drain system obstruction

¿Qué significa Water not draining ?

The washer tub may not drain, or drain slowly, if the drain hose is obstructed, kinked, or improperly positioned. Clogged house drain pipes can also prevent proper drainage.

• Drain hose is kinked or clogged
• Drain hose standpipe is too tall (maximum 8 feet / 2.4 m)
• House drain pipes are clogged

   Clean and straighten the drain hose to remove any kinks or clogs.

   Reduce the standpipe height to less than 8 feet (2.4 m) if it is currently too tall.

   Unclog house drain pipes; contact a plumber if necessary for persistent issues.
