The high-pressure switch (HPS) has activated, indicating that the pressure within the outdoor unit's refrigerant system is too high.

• Blocked airflow (indoor or outdoor)
• Overcharged refrigerant
• Dirty condenser coils
• Faulty high-pressure switch
