What does OUTDOOR UNIT NOT IDENTIFIED mean?

The Evolution Control cannot find or identify the outdoor unit (air conditioner or heat pump). This message appears during the initial power-up sequence if a communicating outdoor unit is installed but not detected.

• Outdoor unit is not powered on
• Wiring issue between the indoor and outdoor unit
• Faulty outdoor unit or its communication components
