What does Error Message mean?

An error message appeared on the scan tool during connection or operation. This usually points to a problem with the scan tool's connection to the vehicle or its power supply.

• Ignition key not in the correct position (ON, not ACCESSORIES).
• DLC cable is not securely connected to the vehicle's data link connector or the scan tool.
• Damaged pins or debris in the vehicle's DLC.
• Broken wire in the DLC cable.
• Blown fuse in the vehicle's fuse box.
• Poor ground connection for the vehicle's control module.
• Low vehicle battery voltage.
