What does Detergent residue in appliance mean?

Undissolved detergent remains visible inside the appliance, not just in the dispenser, after a wash cycle.

• Lid of the detergent dispenser is blocked by items of tableware parts and will not open.
• Items of tableware are blocking the dispenser lid.
• The lid of the detergent dispenser is blocked by the tab and will not open.
• Tabs are used in quick or short programmes, and dissolving time is not attained.
• Washing effect and dissolving performance are reduced after prolonged storage or detergent is very lumpy.

   Arrange tableware in the top basket so the tab collecting tray and dispenser lid are not obstructed (Page 33).

   Do not place tableware or fragrance dispensers in the tablet collecting tray.

   Position the detergent tab crosswise, not vertically, in the dispenser.

   For quick or short programmes, use powder detergent or select a more intensive programme to allow tabs to dissolve fully.

   Change to a fresh detergent if it has been stored for too long or is lumpy (Page 29).
