What does Heat pump switches off (low temp) mean?

The Heat Pump automatically turns off when the outdoor temperature drops to approximately -20 °C to prevent damage. Heating and domestic hot water (DHW) will then be provided by the indoor unit or an alternative heat source.

• Outdoor temperature has reached approximately -20 °C.

   Ensure your indoor unit or auxiliary heater is configured to take over heating when the outdoor unit is off.

   The Heat Pump will automatically restart when the outdoor temperature rises above approximately -17 °C.
