Bosch · Alarm List A/W Split (8754) 2018 01 10

What does 5310 mean?

This warning is issued if the hot gas temperature (TR6) exceeds the maximum limit (90 or 115°C) for more than 60 seconds. It relates to excessively high suction gas overheating.

Common Causes

  • Suction gas overheating is too high.
  • The electronic expansion valve is not regulating properly.
  • Sensors TR5 or JR0 are providing incorrect readings.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Compare the read value from sensor TR5 with an external thermometer.

  2. 2

Connect a manometer to the refrigerant circuit and measure the low pressure. Compare the evaporating temperature value from JR0 with the measured value.

  3. 3

Use a magnet to manually change the position of the electronic expansion valve (EEV) during operation to check if it's stuck.
